Power Management Systems
Since 1989 we have provided central power management systems with communications to networks of multiple power monitoring instruments for buildings and facilities. The systems provided include all or part of the following component requirements as dictated by individual specifications:-
- EMS - Energy Monitoring Systems, a system with focus primarily on energy usage. Today see the energy monitoring and reduction as a key requirement for our systems. These systems assist with achieving Building Regs Part L2, Cibse TM39:2009, Power Usage Effectiveness for datacenters – PUE, CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (formerly Carbon Reduction Commitment)
- PQMS – Power Quality Monitoring Systems – a system for measurement and alarming of electrical systems power quality. Used at key installations where quality of electricity supplied is paramount. Allows monitoring to prove compliance with standards as G5/4, IEC 61000-4-30, EN 50160 e.g. our work for National Grid and EDF Energy Networks.
- ENMS – Electrical Network Management Systems – systems for full management and control of electrical networks.

We supply both ION and PM ranges of meters from Schneider Electric, from basic to high end functionality.
Installations range from low voltage 3-phase feeds 60 to 6000 amps
through medium voltage and onto high voltage – National Grid
